About East Yorkshire Society
Based in East Yorkshire, UK, the East Yorkshire Koi Society (EYKS) is, as the title suggests, a Club for Koi and pond enthusiasts from East Yorkshire and the surrounding area.
The club was originally formed in 1996 and since then, has witnessed a surge of interest in these "living jewels" plus a whole host of new ideas and equipment over the years.
Club Meetings
During the summer months club members regularly get together at each others ponds for more informal, sociable meetings which invariably involve good food, great conversation and an abundance of laughter.
Visits are also arranged to Koi Dealerships, Koi Frams and Koi Shows plus summer also brings exchange visits with other Koi clubs in the U.K. to share experiances and to have great days out for the whole family.
During the winter on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 8pm we meet at The Conservative Club which is located at Wylies Road, Beverley, East Yorkshire, HU17 7AP. View map here
If you are thinking of building a Koi Pond you may need advice, why not come and have a chat with us and we will help and guide you through the planning and building.
If you have any questions about a new pond build or have Koi problems then don't hesitate to contact us, or pop down to a local meet.
Feel free to pop down for a very relaxed chat about Pond building and Koi. We often have guest speakers, raffles and a bit of a laugh, all very friendly.
As a EYKS member you will also have access to our club library of books and DVD's plus equipment which can be utilised for a very small fee, with all proceeds going towards the club.
